Future Project- Rex's Den

The Scarborough Campus Students’ Union is delighted to announce the grand opening of Rex’s Den, a new and improved restaurant that is expected to be the hub of student life at the University of Toronto Scarborough. With extensive renovation and innovative ideas being contributed towards this project, this venue will provide students and staff with a fun, upbeat, and welcoming environment this campus has long awaited! The grand opening of Rex’s Den, located on the lower level of UTSC’s Student Centre, is scheduled for fall, 2009.

Guests can expect to find a fresh look, tasteful menu, and engaging facilities intended to enrich campus life at the University of Toronto Scarborough. These developments include the highly anticipated “Game Spot”, a special feature within Rex’s Den offering customers an interactive space open for various forms of entertainment. This facet will consist of pool tables, foosball sets, and of course, arcade-like games designed for stress-relief following a long day on campus!

Rex’s Den holds a vision that places the UTSC staff and students at heart. It is committed to provide its clientele with a rewarding menu at competitive prices. The restaurant offers a refreshing menu with simple, yet delicious foods. To accommodate for the diverse needs of the UTSC community, it will offer most items in halaal, kosher, vegetarian, and health-choice options. Rex’s Den will also put forth opportunities for take-out in addition to later hours of operation. Alongside a patio, game room, and stage, Rex’s Den is hoping to leave the UTSC community with a relaxed and carefree atmosphere bringing out the best of campus life; fun and food!

With this in mind, look out for the official grand opening date as there will be special discounts offered! Have any ideas, suggestions, or comments about this project? I’m your man, president@scsu.ca!

See YOU at the Grand Opening of Rex’s Den!
